WES TRADE was nominated for SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR in the "CELEBRATING BUSINESS" category.
๐ฏ The 10th year of anniversary of WES TRADE could not be celebrated in a better way with a prestigious award received at the Malta Business Awards 2024 organised by the Malta Chamber of SMEs together with its partners.
๐ WES TRADE was inserted in the โCELEBRATING BUSINESSโ macro category and nominated as SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR.
๐ฌ โIt is a real joy and concretisation of our initial dream when we founded WES TRADE 10 years agoโ said Daniele ROSA, co-founder of WEST โWe were really excited on the stage tonight to see how WEST achievements have been appreciated by our country. To be awarded in our nation is a very meaningful achievement for us.โ

๐ฐ We have been happy to be there for the second year and to had the chance to inform about the evolutions from last year.
๐ฌ โIt was the opportunity for us to reconsolidate our commitment to Green in Sicilyโ commented Alessio Bucaioni โand to share with a very qualified stage the challenges for the future. WES TRADE is today focused on increasing the digitalisation in hashtag#Sicily and to support agriculture with concrete and dedicated actions from secondary schools, to University up to large farms and cooperatives. We were impressed by the behavior of IRRIGOPTIMALยฎ in this dry summer season. We were able to support and improve hashtag#irrigation patterns for farmers tailoring irrigation recommended daily frames creating a balanced cooperative model.โ
On ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ญ๐ด๐๐ต, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฐ, WES TRADE will be hosting a workshop to celebrate the successful conclusion of the ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ก๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ - an innovative fish farming research initiative that brings cutting-edge technology to Malta's Bluefin Tuna farms, co-financed by Xjenza Malta under R&I Excellence program 2023.

The MARINA Project developed an advanced machine learning algorithm to monitor and measure tuna fish biomass in real-time using underwater cameras. This breakthrough technology enhances farm efficiency, optimizes feeding strategies, and promotes sustainable aquaculture practices.
๐ฏ The project aims to refine machine learning algorithms, integrate real-time streams, and optimize practical implementation strategies to achieve more accurate and efficient monitoring of fish length and biomass. For achieving these results WES TRADE was supported by the company Apogee Evolution Ltd and the end user ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐๐ฑ, who offered real time environment on open sea cages where MARINA system was installed.
